About Our Attorney
Ted L. Tinsman
Ted L. Tinsman is the senior bankruptcy attorney at The Bankruptcy Clinic. With over 20 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law in southwest Missouri, Ted has filed more than 2,000 bankruptcy cases for people and small businesses under Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
In addition to Ted’s bankruptcy work, he has provided legal services for IRS offer and compromise, debt settlement, workers’ compensation, family law, Social Security disability, and personal injury cases. Ted graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from Lincoln University in 1989, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1992.
Ted is very involved in the community, including participation with Habitat For Humanity, leadership in his church, and participaton in the Council of Churches of the Ozarks.
Jordyn M. Hill
Jordyn Hill predominantly grew up in Georgia, but later moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he finished high school. He went to college at Kansas State University, ultimately receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science. Afterwards, Jordyn moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas to obtain is his law degree from the University of Arkansas. During law school, Jordyn focused on business and corporate law. In doing so, Jordyn had the opportunity to work within the legal departments of two Fortune 50 companies; Tyson Foods and Walmart. He also spent three months abroad, working for the corporate division of an international law firm in Shanghai, China. Since the completion of his legal education, Jordyn has focused his attention on consumer bankruptcy practice, the only area of law he’s practiced in for the past several years.
Jordyn has a passion for spending time with his family, sports, and the outdoors. He enjoys the high volume of client interaction he gets within the area of consumer bankruptcy, as well as the opportunity to usher his clients through one of the most difficult times of their lives and establish a financial plan for their long-term success.
Angela D. Acree
Angela D. Acree is the former Managing Member of the Bankruptcy Clinic. After a distinguished 20-year career as an attorney, she decided to retire from active practice and pursue other interests. Prior to retirement, Angela passed the mantle of the Clinic over to Ted L. Tinsman, a long-time bankruptcy attorney in Springfield.
